Clara Jean's personal website

Clara Jean is a Phd student in Economics at Université Paris Sud, Paris Saclay and a R&D engineer at Epitech. Her fields of research are machine learning algorithms and discrimination.

She mainly did her education in economics at Université d’Aix-Marseille.

In 2017, she graduated with honors from the Master IREN at Université Paris Dauphine with a specialization in digital economics. She also has a magisterium diploma in engineer economics from Aix Marseille School of Economics (AMSE).

She started her Phd in October 2017 supervised by Grazia Cecere -Telecom Ecole de Management – and Fabrice Le Guel -University Paris Sud- . Her general research interests are digital platforms, advertising and the economics of the internet. She currently deals with the functioning of online platforms, more precisely on algorithm bias in an advertising context and online stereotypes reproduction.

Fields of Research

I’m a PhD student in Digital Economics at RITM laboratory- Université Paris Sud-Paris Saclay- and R&D engineer at Epitech. My research interests are algorithm bias, online discrimination, stereotypes and industrial organization.
